This website runs on server infrastructure provided by netcup GmbH, Emmy-Noether-Straße 10, 76131 Karlsruhe, Germany. Data required to deliver and operate the website is processed in this context. Technical service providers may access this data when providing hosting, maintenance or troubleshooting.

Connections to the website are encrypted using HTTPS. Technical operation and security are based on Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is to provide a reliable website and protect it against misuse.

When you visit a page, logs record information including your IP address, time of access, requested address and any transmitted URL parameters, HTTP method and status code, amount of data transferred, browser identification and, where provided, the previous page (referrer). Browser identification may include information about your browser and operating system. Technical faults may generate additional diagnostic information.

We use these logs to investigate errors and identify attacks or abusive requests. They are not used for advertising or to create usage profiles. Processing is based on our legitimate interest in secure operation under Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.

The web server in front of the application rotates access and error logs weekly. In addition to the current file, four access log archives and ten error log archives are retained. Separate diagnostic and security records are kept for as long as they are needed to investigate a fault or security incident, or to establish or defend legal claims.

We use the verum-materials-session and XSRF-TOKEN cookies to operate forms and the restricted administration area securely. They associate requests with a session and protect against forged form requests. They remain valid for two hours and are renewed when you continue using the website.

These essential cookies are based on Section 25 (2) No. 2 TDDDG. Related processing of personal data supports secure delivery of the requested functions under Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Blocking cookies in your browser may prevent forms or login from working properly.

We do not use analytics or advertising trackers. Fonts, images and scripts are served through our own website; loading pages does not require connections to external font or analytics services.

When you email us or complete a form, we process the information you provide to handle your request. Forms collect your company, contact name, email address and message. Depending on the enquiry, they also collect information about materials, quantities, purity, availability, location, applications or the intended cooperation. A phone number and file upload are optional in the supplier form.

Enquiries are stored in our database and can be handled by authorised staff. Uploaded files are stored in a location that is not publicly accessible. Please provide only documents and personal information needed for your enquiry.

Requests concerning a contract or steps before entering a contract are processed under Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR. Other enquiries are handled based on our legitimate interest in business communication under Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Required fields are necessary to submit and answer a request through the respective form; you can also contact us by email.

Retention depends on handling your request, necessary follow-up and any resulting contractual relationship. Legal retention duties or the establishment or defence of legal claims may require longer storage. Submitting an enquiry does not automatically subscribe you to newsletters or advertising.

Our forms use local checks for signs of automated abuse. These examine factors such as completion time, an invisible field, a short calculation performed in your browser and suspicious message content. No data is sent to an external CAPTCHA provider.

Alongside your enquiry, we store a cryptographic identifier derived from your IP address, browser identification, language and any suspected spam classification with its reason. This identifier is pseudonymised rather than anonymous. Flagged enquiries remain available for review and are not discarded solely on the basis of this automated assessment.

These measures prevent spam and protect our service under Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. We do not make decisions based solely on automated processing that produce legal or similarly significant effects.

Subject to the applicable legal conditions, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability (Art. 15 to 20 GDPR). You may object to processing based on legitimate interests for reasons relating to your particular situation (Art. 21 GDPR). Where consent has been given, you may withdraw it for the future.
